OUR STORY

Ryan our Chief Entrepreneur Officer, was lucky to meet Thomas our Chief Investment Officer in the mid 2000's.

Together they built a sports data analytics business in Africa, and Australasia which was eventually rolled up into a wider group of companies and sold to USA Private Equity firm. Ryan's first 'real job' became running the new companies international business from London.

After gaining a on the job executive MBA in SaaS, Ryan left and joined Thomas again on the next adventure ...... and Getihu was born.

OUR VISION

Getihu comes from the Chinese word for ‘single entity’, and is a word that has is commonly used for technology entrepreneurs.

Our vision is to create a developing world innovation hub across Cape Town, London and Lyon, providing a home for inspirational entrepreneurs, big thinkers, and people who want to change the world in their lifetime.
